Wojciech Machowiak specializes in risk management issues, including especially in supply chains, and the questions, emergencies. He is the author of numerous publications in this field in the form of chapters in books, scientific articles and presentations at national and international conferences.
Wojciech Machowiak has the first twenty years of experience in the management of private companies and commercial companies – jointly organized and led the first years Servisco, the first Polish courier.
He is a member of the International Network Risk Management Research in the supply chain (ISCRIM), the Federation of European Risk Management Associations FERMA Risk Management and the Association POLRISK. Certified Risk Manager and Coach of risk management.
First ever ISCRiM meeting held at the Crewe Campus of Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).
ISCRiM was started by Clare Brindley and Prof Bob Ritchie from MMU and the photograph includes Clare Brindley, Bob Ritchie, John Morris from MMU, George Zsisidin, Robert Lindroth, Andreas Norman and Ulf Paulsson, who were all founder members.
This was ISCRiM’s first dinner held at the White Lion Hotel, Cheshire, England. The initial meeting grew from a paper presented by John Morris in Canada.
