Roberta Pellegrino is Senior Researcher at Politecnico di Bari (Italy); she is contract professor at Politecnico di Bari from 2011, and at University of Bari from 2013. Her main research interests are on Public-Private Partnership / Project Financing, Supply Chain Risk Management, Real Options Theory and other topics in the area of organizational process management (economic-management engineering).
She coordinates and is involved in research projects with companies and other private/public organizations.
She is member of the ISCRIM network (Supply Chain Risk Management Network) and has been member of European project European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research – COST – “Public Private Partnerships in Transport: Trends and Theory” (www.ppptransport.eu) since 2010.
She has been teacher for several master courses or Ph.D lecturer on the themes as risk management, Public Private Partnership and Real option theory.
She earned her Ph.D. in Advanced Production Systems from Politecnico di Bari, Department of Mechanical and Management Engineering in Bari, Italy, in 2010. She earned her degree in Management Engineering (5-years degree) from Politecnico di Bari, Italy, with a mark of 110/110 with high honors, in 2005.
In 2007, she has been visiting scholar at Columbia University (New York, USA), where she conducted research activity on Real option theory to evaluate real investment projects or strategies in risky environments, and Public Private Partnership/Project Financing.
She is author or co-author of several publications on international journals and books, and more than 20 papers presented at international and national conferences.
She has been National Winner of Premio Marisa Bellisario XVIII Edition (Confindustria, Roma, 2006) “Donna e Sud: l’impresa possibile” for Management Engineering (Ladies).
